Brandi Hyatt RD, CSO, LD is a Clinical Oncology Dietitian at Lynn Cancer Institute in Boca Raton,
Florida. She is currently finishing her Masters at Florida Atlantic University,
and defending her thesis in March 2021 concerning her research “Exploring
intention to exercise among a Breast Cancer survivor population”.
Brandi attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her undergraduate
degree in Biology prior to attending the University of Houston for her
dietetic internship.
Brandi started her career at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas
twenty years ago this March 31, 2021.
Her strengths lie in the diversity of roles she has experienced throughout
her career while working in multiple different areas of interest with
different populations. She was honored to attend the John Milner Nutrition
and Cancer Research Practicum at the National Cancer Institute in 2019.
Brandi is a busy mom of a teen and a tween and 3 fur babies who enjoys
working out and hanging out on the beach when time and weather permits.
She is a dedicated fundraiser for ALS in order to help Florida families
who are struggling with the devastating disease that took her dad’s
life in 2017.
