Sports Medicine
Boca Raton Regional Hospital serves as the official sports medicine provider
for Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University Athletics.
Jason Perry, MD, serves as Medical Director of the Boca Regional Sports
Medicine Program, as well as Head Team Physician for Florida Atlantic
University. Dr. Perry leads a team of 10 specialists in the coverage of
FAU teams.
“We are proud to serve as the provider of sports medicine for the
Owls and Knights,” he said. “With tremendous coaches and outstanding
teams at both universities, it’s an exciting time. We’re very
enthused to be involved in such an important way.”
Boca Regional provides all FAU and Lynn University athletes with pre-competition
physicals and other screenings required by the NCAA. Medical staff covers
both home and away football games for FAU as well as their home basketball
games. In addition, Boca Regional Sports Medicine offers weekly clinics
for athletes and gives ready access to other Boca Regional specialists
and state-of-the-art imaging should the need arise.
