BOCA RATON, FL – November 15, 2016 – In recognition of Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s efforts to support
the National Guard and Reserve, the Hospital received the Employer Support
of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Seven Seals Award during its annual Veterans
Day ceremony on November 11, 2016.
The Seven Seals Award is given by ESGR and presented in recognition of
organizational achievement, initiative or support that promotes their
mission to foster a culture in which all employers value the employment
and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the
United States.
The award was presented by Lenny H. Miller, Vice Chairman, Florida Support
of the Guard and Reserve for the U.S. Department of Defense, during Friday’s
Veterans Day Acknowledgement Ceremony. Mindy Raymond, Vice President of
Human Resources, accepted the award on behalf of Boca Regional.
“Our culture is one with longstanding commitment to support and appreciate
our employees, past and present, who are members of the United States
Armed Forces, including the United States National Guard and Reserve,”
said Mindy. “We’re gratified that this organization has recognized
us in such a significant fashion.”
ESGR is a Department of Defense program that develops supportive work environments
for service members in the Reserve Components through outreach, recognition
