Boca Raton Regional Hospital announces the appointment of Andrew Brown,
MD, to the Hospital’s Marcus Neuroscience Institute and BocaCare®
physician network. Dr. Brown is a board-certified general neurologist
who is fellowship-trained in multiple sclerosis, electromyography and
neuromuscular diseases.
Dr. Brown attended medical school at the University of Rochester School
of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. He completed his Internal
Medicine internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and his Neurology
residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, both in New York, New
York. He completed fellowships at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami,
Florida in multiple sclerosis, electromyography and neuromuscular diseases.
He previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at
Florida International University in Miami, Florida and has authored and
co-authored articles in such prestigious peer-reviewed publications as
Multiple Sclerosis Journal, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry
and The Neurologist.
Dr. Brown is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and is board-certified
in neurology, neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine.
