BOCA RATON, FL – August 11, 2017 – Maureen Mann, Executive Director at Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s
Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, has received the 2017
St. George National Award from the American Cancer Society.
The award recognizes individuals for outstanding service to the community
in support of the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives
from cancer. The distinction is awarded to 23 volunteers from across the country.
Ms. Mann was chosen based on her continuous leadership and commitment
to the American Cancer Society and for her dedication to making an impact
on strategic goals and mission-driven programs.
Ms. Mann has been associated with the American Cancer Society for more
than 15 years. As a Florida Division Board Member since 2006, she has
held positions on a number of committees including the Executive Committee
and from 2015-2016 served as Division Board Chair. She currently is Secretary
to the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network’s National
Board of Directors.
The St. George National Award is one of the American Cancer Society’s
most prestigious honors.
