Joshua Rothenberg, DO, Joins Medical Staff At Boca Raton Regional Hospital

BOCA RATON, FL – August 9, 2017 – Boca Raton Regional Hospital announces the appointment of Joshua Rothenberg, DO, to the Hospital’s medical staff and BocaCare® physician network. Dr. Rothenberg is a Musculoskeletal Joint and Interventional Spine Specialist who is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and ACGME fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine. He will assume the role as Director of Regenerative Medicine for BocaCare Orthopedics.

Dr. Rothenberg attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Rothenberg is founder and publisher of Sports Review Journal. He has authored and co-authored one book, nine abstracts and five publications in such prestigious peer-reviewed publications as Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, The Internet Journal of Oncology and Journal of Medical Case Reports.

Dr. Rothenberg was a recipient of the 2017 McLean Outstanding Resident/Fellow Award and the 2016 American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Resident Scholarship Award. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.

Dr. Rothenberg’s clinical specialties include: diagnostic and interventional ultrasound, human biomechanics, osteoarthritis, regenerative medicine, spine and tendon pathology.
