Pelvic Health Specialist Joins Boca Raton Regional Hospital

BOCA RATON, FL – November 29, 2016 – Boca Raton Regional Hospital announces the appointment of Elizabeth Babin, MD, MS, FACOG, FPMRS, CGE, to the staff of the Hospital’s Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute’s Barbara C. Gutin Center for Pelvic Health and BocaCare® physician network. Dr. Babin is a board-certified Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon.

Dr. Babin received her master of science in pharmacology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Arizona Medical School, where she also performed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency. Dr. Babin completed her urogynecology fellowship at the University of Kansas, Lincoln Center of Urogynecology in Topeka, Kansas.

She served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Babin has authored and co-authored articles in such prestigious peer-reviewed publications as Biochemical Pharmacology, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Babin is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her clinical areas of interest include: incontinence, bladder and bowel; minimally invasive surgical reconstruction; pelvic pain; pelvic health; prolapse and sexual health.
