Boca Raton Regional Hospital announces the appointment of Jonathan Courtney,
MD, to the Hospital’s medical staff and BocaCare® physician
network. Dr. Courtney is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained
in total joint revision and arthroscopic surgery. He has extensive experience
performing direct anterior hip replacements.
Dr. Courtney attended medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine
in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery internship and
residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Courtney
completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction and sports medicine at
the Insall Scott Kelly® Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York.
He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery
at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York and has been
published in the prestigious peer-reviewed journal
Orthopedic Clinics of North America.
Dr. Courtney is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons,
the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American College
of Sports Medicine.
