New Physicians Join Medical Staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital

Boca Raton Regional Hospital announces today the appointment of the following physicians to the Hospital’s medical staff:

Ira J. Braunschweig, MDIra J. Braunschweig, MD, is board-certified in radiology. He attended medical school at New York Medical College. His internship was completed at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and his residency was completed at Monmouth Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at SUNY at Stony Brook.






Christopher J. DeLeo, MDChristopher J. DeLeo, MD, specializes in internal medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his internship/residency at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida.


Darin R. Goldman, MDDarin R. Goldman, MD, is board-certified in retina and vitreous surgery. He attended medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. His residency was completed at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and he completed a fellowship at Tufts New England Eye Center in Boston, Massachusetts.





Elizabeth C. Gundersen, MDElizabeth C. Gundersen, MD, is board-certified in hospice and palliative care. She attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed her residency at UMass Memorial Health Care in Worchester, Massachusetts. Her fellowship was completed at the University of Miami in Atlantis, Florida.



Valery A. Niedermeyer, MDValery A. Niedermeyer, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics. She attended medical school at Texas A&M University Health Science Center and completed her internship/residency at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.


Daniel E, Virnich, MDDaniel E, Virnich, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine. He attended medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago and completed his internship/residency at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.



Matthew J. Weiss, MDMatthew J. Weiss, MD, specializes in ophthalmology. He attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He completed his residency and fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
